ok...i know this is my third time blogging in a day...but..i have many many thoughts. lol..and the latest is...that i want to work for discovery travel and living! hahaha...mel yeo took the words right out of my mouth the other day.i just watched faking it like 15 minutes ago. if u havent seen it, its this show where they take ordinary people from their jobs..and make them do strange things which they have had no experience in like being an aerobics instructor or a wine sommelier.(no i didnt get that spelling right on the first or second time..or the third.) after short weeks of training..they have to fake it in their new profession, fooling a panel of judges while competing against other genuine aerobics instructors. well anyway...its not so much the 'act' of putting people under such a situation that makes it interesting but the feel that the chanel and programs brings across through their scene changing,the colours! the graphics and music in the ads,basically the channel layout. you can almost see the people behind it or understand their sophisticated and very happening design personality. at the same time, its extremely pofessional, and very mature..staying far away from cheap advertising or over dramatization for commercial interests. it seems..canadian. not daft american-ish=P. if it does come from america im sorry..maybe they do produce some good stuff ^.-
well heres a huge kudos to all from travel and living..and to all who enjoy it! and especially to globe trekker..man i love it when the screen becomes fuzzy with that grainy effect..ahh..watching them do their concept development, branding and advertising would be so fun...oh well. haha might go get an attachment at jennifer's cousin's firm some time this year..shes in the design segment of a pretty big european advertising firm...it'll be so cool to watch them have discussions and come up with ideas! hahahaha=D
