Darren cries 'I want my xiao ji!' on the last Wednesday ever. Luke's a natural.
A rare capture of Dt not stoning.

Some really heartfelt message about my time in ACS (I) is begging to emerge, with thoughts of never ever walking out the gates under the same context moving me to realize that our time here has really come to an end. The past 6 years have been so rich, and it is no doubt that something that you put a large part of your life into will inevitably bear high returns and at the same time, hold a part of your heart ransom. It is actually the old ACS, if you could call it that(of course each preceding generation will hold a more substantial claim to the old ACS)- the sec1 to 4 years that are and will continue to pull at my heartstrings. The modern, new institution of fast change will always be different from the edge of the world 3.14 and 4.14 classrooms, side field soccer, afternoon trainings and prefect camps. Back when there was only one yellow level staffroom and where the idea of life in ACS(I) ended in sec4, midway through one's educational development. Sure, the additional 2 years have completed my path before tertiary education, but this is an experience and culture never before set in our school. Its new, it breaks from the norm, it alters the ACS (I) experience. So while I've had a heck of a time with my class the past 2 years, and the journey with the cohort has been exciting, disheartening at times and and yet promising, life of ACS(I) students will undoubtedly never be the same again. I just thought I had to acknowledge the times of the ACS boys who have been through it from the start, considering that a lot of the celebrations and recollections have been about our IB life. I guess when we look at it in its entirety, it is then that we truly know our place as ACS boys.
