beautiful sunsets at lake tekapo
I was most sad that the battery of the film Hasselblad which shoots panoramic died just before the 2 days of the most beautiful sunset and sunrise. And this town, being so small, didn't have a 24 hour store, and the sunset, being at 9.30pm was after working hours. Tragedies of being in a scenic quaint town on a summer day.
Thus, i have to make do with this digital cropping.
To be honest, I was only happy with the shooting at lake tekapo. Scenary is very difficult to take, and unless you get great light, and have an inaccurate white balance:P, the shots dont come out that great. Of course it didn't help that i left my cam on AF-C and thus some shots are out of focus.But....More New Zealand shots to come! and more descriptions of the place, as oppossed to my camera techy woes. and it turned out that last nights dinner wasnt that bad.

the cause for aid?
I am finding it exceedingly difficult to explain the validity of a church's missions programme and aid to intellectuals. It is difficult even rationalizing the intellectual aspect of it that rationalizing the spiritual aspect as the underlying principal that dictates all subsequent actions seems almost impossible to put forth. The academic questions about the validity of aid provision are however ones that I think need to be grappled with. But argh...how....one of the huge struggles ........putting forth the spiritual validity of missions. How else do we put it besides God guides our actions?
i do acknowledge that I myself am limited. Limited in understanding, even comprehension. Limited in execution, limited even in will to think it through some times. Come back to the spiritual aspect and pray. We serve a limitless God. I can already hear the intellectuals biting back.
